The following items were primarily developed independently of one another to practice skills in a variety of scenarios.
Digital Document: infographic
Learning Objective: Compare the concepts of terror and horror in literature.
Instructional Strategy: This infographic can easily be placed inside a learning module or on a handout to give learners an engaging visual aid to help remember the concepts related to each concept.

Original Digital Video: Screencast
Learning Objective: Create original videos using Animotica.
Instructional Strategy: A screencast video is an excellent way to show students how to use software or websites by providing a step-by-step visual. No more searching for buttons or hidden menus described by text tutorials; with a screencast tutorial, learners can see exactly how to use the tools with no ambiguity.
Also, by uploading videos to YouTube, you can reach a wider range of learners and easily incorporate accessibility features, such as captions.

#1 - Interactive Image
I created this image from scratch using Microsoft Publisher and added the interactive buttons using
Learning Objective: Create a personalized research plan.
Instructional Strategy: This image is an example research plan for learners to use as a starting point for developing their own. Using an image rather than a document template forces the learner to create their own, and the helpful buttons allow them to see suggestions and methodology for their choices.

#2 - Flyer
The tree image is Creative Commons and all editing was done in MS Publisher.
Learning Objective: Create a marketing logo and compelling advertising text.
Instructional Strategy: This flyer could be used as an example of creating simple but effective logos and copy for marketing purposes.
